Blogging in front of the TV.
I've had a couple of runs since my last post. Last Sunday I ran around Wahroonga in my new shoes: Asics Gel Nimbus. It was okay running around the burbs and the shoes were good.
Then this morning I had a 5k run at about 5.30. The pace was pretty slow but the shoes feel good.
My foot problems seem to have disappeared for the time being but I'm still getting pain down the back of my leg. I have revised my diagnosis of sciatica as I don't really have all the symptoms. 2P suggested that my hip might be out and that could be right. Maybe I should see a physio - although I'm not sure just when as the schedule is pretty tight for the next little while.
I will be happy just to get out in the next week as I will be putting in some long hours (including 2 hours of driving each day). Will try to blog and to find some motivation.

Ok try this - lie on your back - keeping your right leg straight put your left heel just above your right knee - now place gentle but increasing pressure with your hand (or that of a significant other) on your left knee and press down - repeat for the other side - don't be surprised if you feel/hear a "click" at the very least hold it for a 12 count as a stretch.
I'd go to the physio if you get a chance.
